What Goes Into A Free-Estimate
Volume & Weight:
The main factor in determining your estimate is how much space your junk takes up in our truck. We charge based on volume (measured in cubic yards), with 5 pricing tiers ranging from a small load to a full truckload.
Type of Junk:
Certain items require special handling, disposal, or recycling processes, which can affect pricing:
-
General household junk (furniture, boxes, appliances) follows standard pricing.
-
Construction debris (drywall, wood, concrete) is heavier and may involve additional labor.
-
Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, asbestos) cannot be removed due to safety regulations.
Labor & Accessability:
The effort required to remove your junk also plays a role in your estimate:
-
Curbside pickups (items placed outside) are the most affordable since they require minimal labor.
-
Indoor removals (e.g., basement, attic, or apartment cleanouts) may require more time and effort.
-
Stairs & Tight Spaces – If items need to be carried up/down multiple flights of stairs or through narrow hallways, the additional labor required will be factored into your estimate.
-
Disassembly Needs – If we need to break down furniture (like bed frames, shelving units, or bulky desks), this is also considered when coming up with a price.
